Job Title: Install Assistant

Position Summary: You would work mostly in a two man team installing fragile countertops. You will be assisting the lead installer on whatever is needed. This will include carrying heavy pieces of stone countertops (some weighing over 200 LBS) mounting sinks, installing splash, caulking and cleaning up when you are finished. You will be expected to look neat and professional. You will often work with other crews and hours may vary, so you will need to be flexible.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: GED or high school diploma is preferred
• Work Related Experience: Any construction experience would be a plus Granite countertop install experience is preferred

Preferred Certifications and licenses:

1. Need a current driver’s license
2. It is preferred that you are not on probation
3. DOT card is a plus
4. Be on time *You need to have transportation to work for a 6AM start time*

Skills, Knowledge, abilities:

1. Be able to follow directions and learn fast. Be self-motivated, have pride in your work
2. Be flexible, you are on a different jobsite daily and often work with different people
3. Be able to communicate issues with the lead installer so they can be addressed
4. Be able to read and write
5. Be on time everyday **6AM start time**
6. Some Saturday work is required
7. Must be able to pass a drug test
